The United States Congress of Mining Districts is a formal assembly of mining district representatives to discuss and prioritize problems facing the mining community and formulate solutions to remediate the identified problems.

We are organized as a 501(c)(6) Business League.  Our objectives are: to improve business operating conditions for mineral prospectors and mine operators; maintaining mineral prospector and miner rights under the 1872 Mining Law; political activities and lobbying for more reasonable laws and regulations as they affect prospecting and mining operations within the United States of America and its various ecosystems; to support our members through all other appropriate action in furtherance of such purposes; and consistent with the above, to exercise all powers available to corporations organized pursuant to the District of Columbia Non-Profit Corporation Act.
